Illinois Science Olympiad T-Shirt RIPOFF!!!
Ok, you might think there's nothing wrong with the Illinois Science Olympiad T-Shirt designs, but they stole our idea!!! Look at the pictures..

Actually, many schools have chemical elements as their team shirt. It's quite popular.

Illinois could just have easily accused you of the same thing.
When nationals was at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005, Illinois Science Olympiad was one of the sponsors, and its logo back then was exactly the same as you showed in designs 2 and 3.
Sorry to break it to you, but the periodic table T-shirt design is extremely common. Just look at last year's national T-shirt design. (You should feel lucky, however, that you can spell out "Franklin" without omitting any letters. Many other schools can't.)

The elements thing is probably the most over-used and basic logo design used in SciOly.
And I'm sure it wasn't started by Kennedy...

Hey, what's even better, my school is Franklin as well, only we did just F H S. It's not something that someone should get credit for, the elements are there and many people have, independently, thought of the same thing so no one school or person is responsible for this.
