Oh, and,.. if the proctor or some other person was able to build the WIDI object, that obviously makes it possible to build. ..

State is tomorrow!! Anyone excited? It should be a fantastic day!! Even though I'm kinda disappointed about having to leave before the awards (it's the best part!), I'm sure that it'll be a great competition. Good luck everyone!

Re: Southern California (SoCal) 2013
Good job at state, everyone! It was really tough competition this year - all of the teams I saw there were completely amazing.
Even if you didn't win, know that you still did great - you're still the best in your region, and you worked really hard to get here. Everyone was trying their best. Even a great deal of the kids who medaled admitted that the tests this year were pretty hard. (I think the CalTech guys or whoever wrote the tests this year just loved torturing us!)
Congratulations to Northwood, Arcadia, Canyon Crest, Troy, North Hollywood, and Torrey Pines (Division C) and Carmel, Muscatel, Mesa Robles, Mesa Verde, Rancho San Joaquin, and Black Mountain (Division B) for placing as a team. Whoever goes to Nationals, I wish you good luck! Represent Southern California well!

Same, congrats to all the teams that participated. I got to meet a lot of you, and you guys (especially Canyon Crest) really put up a strong fight this year. This year I really thought the tests were harder than usual. (Thanks Caltech!)

Re: Southern California (SoCal) 2013
I agree with PM314 and Pacific, congratulations to everyone, especially Troy and Muscatel! I especially want to thank bearasaurus and any/all of the volunteers there at State yesterday, CalTech or otherwise--thank you so much for generously donating your time to help run the competition! It was again a very memorable day, despite the fact that I missed the awards ceremony...however, thanks to a running long-distance call with my teammates, I didn't miss out much on the excitement. Although this will be my last year competing in Division B, I hope that this won't be the end of my Science Olympiad career!

The finalized scores were released today, the placements for B didn't change, although I'm not sure about C's:
