Is it just the last digit that's changing (and if so, what is that digit)? That's not very unusual.

It's random, sometimes only one digit is changing sometimes all of them are changing.

Does anyone know if any type of bridge or wheatstone circuits will appear this year? I saw some in the old threads, but wanted to know if they have the chance of appearing this year.

I would assume that bridges could still appear even if they are not mentioned in the Shock Value rules, since they are based on general circuit analysis principles.

Sorry to keep asking (I'm a bit late getting put on this event)
But how exactly is this problem solved?

Add up the parallel first using the formula 1/R1 +1/R2 = 1/RT
1/10+1/20
2/20+1/20=20/3
~6.67 ohms
So now you've basically summed up the parallel resistors into one series resistor, now simply add up the two series resistors, 13 +6.67 = ~19.67 ohms.

Just remember this:
1/R1 + 1/R2 = 1/RT, so the reciprocal of the sum of the two is the total resistance.
Series is R1+R2
And do parallel before series in simple circuits like that, UNLESS you have two series within a set of parallel resistors, I believe.

No problem and don't worry about it, I actually like people helping out, and I know shock value can be challenging, I'm in it currently and it just takes a bit of studying circuits, magnets, etc. and it'll be 10 times easier.
