Haven't even thought about that... smaller, lesser well run invitationals and regionals will tend to reuse tests even when the rules are not replayed. I can see this being a huge issue if the current rules are kept.
Even some states reuse some tests when the events remain the same.
Eh, I'd say that issue stays regardless. I also write for many tournaments big or small. I was thinking more about myself or even others that try to write new tests or at least are aware and conscious of what has been tests and out there.

Yes, it does.

Yes, it does.
Does that mean builds will also keep the same goal?

Correct. I'd expect near perfect gravity vehicles and Wright Stuffs and Boomilevers next year in order to be competitive.

Maybe not. 2.7k is literally insane though. I haven't seen any scores remotely close to that this year. It's going to be a frustrating next year.

Yeah, I was pretty upset about that because I got like 2,658 during a practice in-between regionals and state, so I probably could've won state with that design.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the events being the same. I know a lot of people put a ton of love and work into their events and wouldn't want it to end like this. For builds, the rules definitely have to change. I would not want everyone to perfect everything over the summer. They would just need to change up the rules enough so it's just like everything is on its second year.

If events are being replayed will most national and state schedules also be replayed?

I would be curious what the percentage is of teams who have not yet competed in anything, vs teams that have been competing in invites for months now or already had their regional. If most teams have given this set of rules a run, then I think it should be okay to move on as planned for 2021, but if most teams haven't even put their time to use yet, then that could be a driving force behind them repeating everything.
