I coached the 3rd place team in Michigan, their score was a 25 with .1 cm CTP, 3.4 cm VTP and 22 seconds run time.Chameleon02 wrote:UPDATE: we got 5th this year with 30, I'm interested in knowing the scores of the teams that placed above us.Chameleon02 wrote:expect top 3 sub 20. We won first at Michigan states last year with about 10.5, should be slightly higher scores this year.xiangyu wrote:Anyone have a score prediction for state's competition at Michigan? What will it take to medal? (Top 8). This is my first year doing MV so I'm not really sure how the score for MV will look. I've been hitting 20-60 points during practice depending on the distances.

Re: Score Discussion
OH States first was well below 15 with 3.7m distance. We placed 7th with a high 40's score if I remember correctly (12.5s runtime, around 14 CTP, and around 7 VTP), though we were capable of sub 14 scores in practice (we choked at comp).....

Re: Score Discussion
I wouldn't necessarily say choke as practice is practice meaning no pressure and you get as many runs as would like,in a comfortable environmentjajefan wrote:OH States first was well below 15 with 3.7m distance. Those are pretty impressive given the parameters for Nationals, anyone know what the target distance was?4Head wrote:Solon 11.31dcambrid wrote:Any scores from Nationals?

Re: Score Discussion
We scored 31.8 and got 10th; angle was slightly off on the first run but when we tried to correct on the second we had something go wrong with the drive string unfortunately.4Head wrote:Solon 11.31dcambrid wrote:Any scores from Nationals?
