order [i]Coleoptera[/i] (duh) family [i]Carabidae[/i], if I remember correctly And it's definitely a tiger beetle. I don't think that's the complete species name though.

Manticora latipennis, a.k.a. the Monster Tiger Beetle. It even has an awesome name.
