Re: Dynamic Planet B/C Question Marathon
Sorry! I forgot to post
Bergschrunds have two ice walls, but I don't think they are higher. Randklufts are gaps between the glacier itself and the valley headwall (i.e. the rock face at the back of the cirque); bergschrunds are big crevasses that separate ice "clinging" to the valley headwall in a cirque from the rest of the glacier, so they appear farther down the glacier
EDIT: the next question is ceg7654's question

Drumlins form when till is trapped and smoothed under ice sheets. They are usually found in low-lying areas and show the direction of ice movement.

Was looking for a little more detail, but I'll give it to you. I think my question was rather vague anyway

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C Question Marathon
Does anyone know how to find mass balance/glacial budget from just a cross-section of a glacier? Something to do with dividing the cross-section into several blocks, it was on last year's Michigan State DP test. I searched for it and came up with nothing.
