This is probably foolish, b/c I don't have any info from some of the regions, but here are my predictions for the finals:

We're somehow going to have to build a bot that can beat UE, it's going to be hard.

Who do you have as winning states?

Well, it's hard to say without having seen any of the Bots outside of E.L.I., but I will say that I don't think it will be WM again. Their Bot is about the same, but last year they had a phenomenal driver who seems to have graduated. This year's driver is fine, but not spectacular. If it is an E.L.I. bot this year, it will be us (Hills East) or Brentwood.

Wait how many teams from each bracket are going to the finals? For your predictions you have 10 teams but there are only 6 brackets.

Oops, missed a bracket. Add Niskayuna and - oh, I dunno, how about Webster Thomas? Total shot in the dark, there.

That's the idea. I think we are in the most competitive bracket, probably. The FM/Brentwood/Spackenkill and WM/ME blocks also look quite tough.

Hills East got 8th in regionals last year, but after a thorough overhaul took 4th in states again. This year we were 2nd on our region, as we had been two years ago. So, a third Fourth? I dunno. We have a couple of tricks up our sleeve, but we may be pretty close to maxing out the potential of the Vex platform for this event.

Well, I'm going to guess Flavorflav is Hills East.
