We actually had someone at my school who was all about IAT and went after it pretty hard. He got pretty demoralized tho bc the tests were pretty bad, and maybe that is why it is still a lackluster event.

The bigger problem we had were the permanent events, just because my school was a fairly new team and we got whipped in events like astronomy or chem lab bc other teams had years of experience to build on. So I got thrown in them lol.

It could be. I could believe that IAT might be the hardest event to find a good ES for.

Just like detector for me. The build looks so easy, but the tests impossible.

And gosh, chem lab was so hard for me. How did 10 hours of studying get us 22nd place? (luckily we'll have people who are actually taking ap chem next year, this year was a bit unorganized)

Maybe that's part of the reason we silvered in Forestry this year with something like 3 hours of prep (writing notes and that's literally it)
