It's definitely along those lines but that's such an odd thing to give as an ID clue. There might be more related to it, like perhaps its related to Thermodynamics??

what even is density lab
geomaps sounds like pure misery

well, you know i know how machines works already
proteins sound complicated
widi is a fake event, but you knew that already
hopefully these clues will start getting harder. maybe we'll have a death! maybe we'll have one round last the full 48 hours ...

Perhaps the clue either has the first letter in every sentence spell something out, but abwgrwpw really doesn't seem like anything, unless its a cipher. The first letter of each event is abdgompw, which seems to have nothing important in it. I disagree with sassy about Anatomy but hey we all can have our opinions here
Maybe it's something about people who have been in certain events that were listed in the past, I'm going to test if any of the random combinations listed earlier can be decoded/search for people with these events.
Edit 2: Just noticed the size 1 aacpAUQ probably is significant

Using that as a bit.ly link suffix, it turns up nothing. Using it as a tinyurl suffix, it sends me to the DNS error page, with 'Mmj clone' as the search term.
