Most Newbury Award winning books that I've read were terrible.

When i was in 6th grade i read the hardy boys. i only got to the 20th page and gave up. It was terrible.

Heyyyy I liked the Hardy Boys!
Sure, the mysteries were shallow and lame, and the characters were totally unrealistic, but still.
