Second this. If it's on the rules, it's bound to show up in an exam. It's a good idea to put the entire list on your notes, just in case you forgot a specific origin or insertion, or if you forgot the spelling of the muscles themselves. All those muscles are fair game, so I don't recommend choosing the most important ones.Mr.Epithelium wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 7:50 amIf you're really out of space put the most important ones, like trapezius, biceps brachii, rectus femoris, etc., which are generally prime movers for common actions.trehank wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 9:24 pm Are you guys putting down the entire list of Major Skeletal Muscles on the Cheat Sheet? I'm asking because I am running out of room trying to put all the Skeletal Muscles on my cheat sheet. Should I put all of them on there or choose the most important out of each category?
Regardless, it would still be good to put the entire list on your notes. Remembering select actions, origins, or insertions would cover most test questions I've seen so far.

Re: Anatomy and Physiology B/C
I had pm this stuff to u but I'm guessing u didnt see, plus alot of the things I think others already suggested but I'll write this anyways:trehank wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:05 am I am still having trouble fitting all the information on my cheat sheet. I am using google docs to type my cheatsheet. My font at the moment is 6.5 and when I decrease it to 6 it is a little fuzzy. Will it become clearer when I print it or should I leave my font at 6.5?
I would suggest using word document instead of google docs for your cheat sheet, just bc I think u will be able to fit more info in ur cheat sheet if u use word document. I generally use the font calibri and the font size I use is usually 9. In word document you can laso customize border space and it's just easier I feel. My friends from big competitive school teams also suggest using word. Also if there are information that are small in size I generally just write it in myself with a pencil (you know just write it in the random spaces u might have between diagrams). Also the text u do put try to abbreviate more maybe u would be able to fit stuff in then, for ex.if I have to rt symptoms of heart attack are increased blood pressure, in my hceat sheet I would write 🡩 BP, if I had to write "this desease is caused by no exercize, I would put exercize. These are just some examples. I wandered off in my response I think, if I didnt answer ur question I'm sorry, but these are just helpful tips that might help you:)

When I competed, I used Pages (Apple) then converted to a MS Word Document. I believe Google Docs cannot go down to smaller font sizes so I used Pages/MS Word. Like I mentioned before, Pages/MS Word is also easier to use for formatting the cheatsheet. I apologize for not answering this question as well.donutsandcupcakes wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 6:53 amI think they said they used 1.5 on word. I also agree with @donutsandcupcakes. I highly suggest downloading MS Word and getting used to it. It’ll definitely make the cheatsheet making process easier, in my opinion. You will encounter other cheatsheet events besides A/P, so I recommend checking out MS Word.

I need all of your big brains; this is for the benefit of all of us.
Many of us have microscopic font sizes and a page of diagrams fitted together like a puzzle so that we can have the most information as possible on our notes page. For years I have been looking for the best way to maximize spage on a diagram page so that every photo fits in the best place and so that all the space is used. I'm thinking that there has to be some math or software you can use to figure out how to get the most perfect diagram page. What do you guys do?

I do not do anything fancy but this is what I do. First, I make sure that my images are screen shot to minimize white space. I use google docs so you know that section when you have clicked on an image once? Well I press the wrap text and make the margins zero (yes that is possible). And then after that it is mainly just put things together and see where it fits.kalimarieyork wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 10:49 am I need all of your big brains; this is for the benefit of all of us.

Re: Anatomy and Physiology B/C
Do they ask National Level Diseases in Regionals? Bc there's a whole disease packet so I was wondering if it includes the National Level Diseases... Also is there like a common mistake people make, like is there something that we should study but people end up skipping or not paying much attention too...?

Well that is a tough question to answer. I would like to say no, they do not and should not ask about National Level Diseases in Regional tests, but, sadly, I cannot promise you the proctors will not do it. Thus, I would recommend studying National Level Diseases but not hit them hard in your studying.donutsandcupcakes wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 5:03 pm Do they ask National Level Diseases in Regionals? I believe a common mistakes made are two things. (One) Many students forget to study not just about organs and tissues, but also cellular structure and more specifically the molecules that are transported and changed in that organ. (Two) Also, many kids focus too much on either the diseases or anatomical makeup of a biological structure and not enough of both. Both are just as important as the other and I believe many students forget that fact.
