I asked the Sewickley Science Dept. head who was taking over since their coach left and because I help arrange an invitational that they normally attend and we had not heard from them. He said that "... Sewickley Academy is not continuing with Science Olympiad."eyeball138 wrote:Where did you hear this? Sewickley's not competing? But...but they made States so predictable...
I guess then that the two national teams for B will be Shady Side and Bala Cynwyd or Strath Haven.

I wonder why not... maybe you can only get in it if you are really good at science and math in the first place, so naturally they had an advantage? 
You'd think that they would try to get a team since they were so good, that the students would try actively to get one. Or maybe they'll just go somewhere else. Who knows?

They were really good for a 3-year team. I bet the coach left because they didn't get Top 10 at Nationals and was disappointed.
