Re: Indiana 2020
If Indiana were to cancel state, do you think they'd give us at least a week's notice, or would it be a last-minute thing?
the name's bond. covalent bond.

If SoCal doesn't send anyone, they would probably go to NorCal. California is treated as having two bids that are normally split between N and SCPScienceDude wrote: ↑March 9th, 2020, 6:55 am *This is assuming SoCal forfeits their bids as well which I doubt will happen*

I’m thinking either a lottery or we might just forfeit the bids...allofgarden wrote: ↑March 9th, 2020, 6:56 am If Indiana state were to be cancelled, would we follow NY and not send any teams or would it be lowest regional score or how could they decide? Obviously all speculation since there’s no precedent.

Re: Indiana 2020
I'm thinking it isn't likely that NorCal has a state tournament either, just looking at how the west coast is getting decimated by COVID-19.SOPomo wrote: ↑March 9th, 2020, 9:05 amIf SoCal doesn't send anyone, they would probably go to NorCal. I"m not exactly holding my breath either. Following the news at the Sacramento Regional all Saturday was bonkers, starting with SoCal state, then Santa Clara regional, then Stanford cancelling all non-online classes, then Elk Grove (largest school district in NorCal, just south of Sacramento) cancelling classes for this week.BennyTheJett wrote: ↑March 9th, 2020, 9:11 amI'm thinking it isn't likely that NorCal has a state tournament either, just looking at how the west coast is getting decimated by COVID-19.SOPomo wrote: ↑March 9th, 2020, 9:05 amIf SoCal doesn't send anyone, they would probably go to NorCal. It’s true that NorCal is at greater risk than we are, but decisions are up to venue and state board and we don’t know what they will choose.SOPomo wrote: ↑March 9th, 2020, 9:30 amI"m not exactly holding my breath either. Re: Indiana 2020
I 100% agree, especially after Butler. Since, Tri-North did outstandingly well and the reverse happened for RP. Then there's Div C where Carmel beat my very own team, sadly, at UMichigan showing their true power and skill; moreover, Carmel even went on to win Butler with like a 10.
