Well, this event isn't necessarily based around species, so I would say that it doesn't really matter. The beetle in question was used as a good example of a certain characteristic indicative of a certain family. Whether or not it will be on a test is probably up to the digression of the test writer, because since it isn't explicitly stated, any world species is fair game. Ah ok. That opens up some possibilities for some interesting species. [u]Order[/u]: Hemiptera; [u]Family[/u]: Reduviidae; [u]Species[/u]: Uhh I'm pretty sure the [b]genus[/b] is Glymmatophora because it's metallic but I've got no clue what the species is. :|

burying beetle! Order is of of course Coleoptera and family is Silphidae. The genus is definitely Nicrophorus; I'm thinking the species is N. americanis.
