Any idea of what kind of times the top teams were getting? From what I've seen it looks like most teams get around 4 to maybe 12 second flights. Kind of wondering what the high water mark is... Thanks..

I know that very good glider times have been in the 15-20 range, resulting in scores of 30-40. This is probably a good estimate for Athens at least. However, keep in mind that the very good teams at these invites are nationals-caliber.

I was just told that the Rustin Invitational has been moved to Sunday, January 27th, on account of the incoming snow showers. Just wanted to give a heads up.

Luckily, it doesn't look like it will snow after Friday night, so this year it (hopefully) won't get canceled.

I hope this doesn't impact any teams.

I'm just relieved that the tournament hasn't been cancelled again this year. Last year, we stayed Friday to Saturday overnight, and ended up getting stranded temporarily in Pennsylvania because of the snow. Luckily, I was not one of them. I stayed at home, and only woke up early because everyone texted me at the same time to tell me.

If you'll be at Rustin, look for the girl from Gelinas Varsity with long hair, a fedora, and black leather boots, at Boomilever, Sounds of Music, and Forestry. Come and say hi, I'm friendly.
