Our high school team hasn't started, but the intermediate has, even though it's all introductions to the events for the new kids. October is when the real hardcore studying starts.

Our middle school doesn't even start tryouts until late October. And then no one really works on anything except the building and lab events until Regionals is a month away. Then, everyone spazzes out and studies like crazy and somehow, we manage to get first. How it happens is a mystery to me.

Same thing for our middle school.
And sports really bite in to some people's dedication sometimes

I just heard that Sewickley will not have a Science Olympiad team this year. It's too bad because they seemed to have a good program.
I'm sure it will probably open up a spot for someone else at Nats this year. Anyone know who finished 3rd in B division states last year?
