I believe that they are in the rules...
Aerogels, wood, and foam work well. Though this is my first year as well, so don't take my word for it ;)

Anyway, I'm using either EPS or XPS foam (they're similar to Styrofoam).

Temperature between 60 and 75*C? No more scalding my fingers with boiling water for testing! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Aside from retail stores and online shopping sites, you can probably also find them used in packing. I believe my foam last year came from a foam tray which was no longer in use. But be aware that there are differences between the two and that there are also other options you could try.
