The "Fundamentals of Remote Sensing" pdf file is extremely helpful, and can be found at:

Warning: Large file! More than 200 pages!

Wikipedia is always good, and you can always refer to the source list at the bottom.

So by statistical analysis they don't mean stuff from a statistics class?

Could anyone that's had this event before tell me if it's way difficult, normal. Ya know, like their views on it.
This is my first year in it and I'm a bit scared, even though my partner is very confident in his own ability. I just don't want to have to totally rely on him.

Thanks~

it seems to be one of the more dificult events, but at the 2 competitions i've competed at i haven't prepared for it, and placed only by luck, though some of it seems to be common sense

I'm not sure, just in past years I haven't had much math to do. But this is a new topic and some new rules, so maybe some stats stuff, but I doubt it, they probably mean more like plotting your data and similar stuff. Though I haven't taken any tests on Global Warming yet, so we will see.

I've been told by my partner to calm down and not worry so much about it cause it will be fine...

Read up a little bit on global warming, especially stuff like measurement of chlorophyll concentration in the ocean, measuring area from satellite maps, and what images of Earth from different wavelengths look like. It'll help a lot.
