Re: Scioly Summer Study Session 2013
Hey folks! Today marks the end of the first week of SSSS. So far, we have 24 resources, and 32 total if you count duplicates. Not bad for our first week!
Let's keep the submissions rolling in (which they are), and we'll continue to see how this goes!
Now, to answer a few questions:
The subtopics for next year are indeed up. You can find them in a pretty organised manner here.
The difference between notes and wiki edits is that the wiki is basic info, just covering all the material at a beginner or introductory level. The notes should be more in depth, about whatever specific subject inside that event you like, or covering that entire event in a more in-depth way.
They will be uploaded to the wiki as they are, at the bottom under the "more resources" subheading. If someone would like to take the initiative and work them in the wiki, that'd be awesome. I should probably do it, considering my job, but ehhhhh maybe sometime later.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

So to be clear, the only way we can access the tests and notes is if we submit our own, right?
Say I want notes for Chem Lab, should I make a test for Chem lab or can I make tests for any event?
I'm pretty excited for this, it's the first year I've seen it!

When you submit a note/test for any event, your username is given access to special pages on scioly.org . On these pages, you can access any files of any event.

You gain access to all the notes/tests for every event, if any, that has been submitted so far, I believenrat48 wrote:So to be clear, the only way we can access the tests and notes is if we submit our own, right?

Re: Scioly Summer Study Session 2013
My email (yahoo) apparently doesn't allow attachments larger than 10 MB. My notes are too large (13.4 MB) and are unable to be sent to summerscioly@scioly.org. Is there an alternative way I can send you my notes for verification?

Apparently, it is not my email that is causing the failure of sending, it is on the receiving side. Please post an alternative way to post my notes.

The summerscioly email has been working for all the others. Please PM me with details of your problems, and I will find the best way to deal with this.
Thanks!
