I put my blades on one CD. I glue about 5 pieces of balsa on the left side of the top and about 5 on the right. then i glue the Cd with the blade on. It ads to much weightblue cobra wrote:No... thus the use of "not sure."

Ok, I'm not quite getting your verbal description. What size balsa are you using? What do you mean by 5 on the left and 5 on the right?
What I do is I mount my blades on one side of the CD with a little piece of 1/16x1/16 balsa to prop it up on an angle. This way they don't fall back behind the CD and hit the motor, and it is also quite lightweight.

Ok, I assume your blades get bigger in the middle? If you want to keep that design, I would suggest that you make it get bigger only on one side. That way you angle the bigger side up and so it doesn't fall behind the blade. A lot of people have seen success with blades that get thinner as they go to the tip, and so you could also try one of those if you want.

Ok, then I suppose you would just have to use a piece of wood to prop it up on one CD. Put it closer to the edge of the blade to get a higher angle and further to get a lower angle. This way it should stick up out of the CD rather than falling behind it.
