Mostly agree, here are mine
1. Carmel (yeah same reason as above)
2. Munster (superscored well at UMich, depending on how good their stacked team is they could maybe upset Carmel)
3. Lake Central (they know how to compete at state, they consistently do very well)
4. BHSS (RP invite)
5. Either BHSN or John Adams (JA did well at their regionals)
Yeah, that's reasonable as well. I think a lot will be determined by the Butler regional, that is the one with the Bloomington schools and Carmel right?
Butler regionals have traditionally not been a good indicator of state as tests and events aren't great. The year Carmel did best at Butler, they got 4th at state.

Also I don't believe the Bloomingtons have historically stacked at Butler Regionals which is why Carmel's B team has been able to beat the Bloomington teams the last two years although Bloomington has performed strong at state.
Bloomington and Munster both not stacking?! Confirmed.

I understand that Carmel won UMich, but you must remember that BHSS wasn't there. I can't wait to witness a Carmel/BHSS/Munster face off in March.
Also want to add that in the only relatively decent field of teams, Carmel got 154(?) points, which although won the competition, is not an overall competitive score. You can compare this to Troy's 133 and 7L's 162 at MIT, Centerville's 133 at northview, wwpn's 114 at princeton, etc.

I'll be interested to see who comes out on top - I think Munster, Carmel, BHSS all have a shot at first.
And all those scores are nothing compared to Panther team's 99 at Raymond Park Invitational. Especially WWPN's 114 at Princeton because obviously 99 at Raymond Park Invitational is better than 114 at a little invite like Princeton.
As far as the competitiveness of the attending teams and the number of teams competing goes, Princeton is easily the more competitive/larger invite :?:

And Troy's 133 and 7L's 162 at MIT is definitely better than BHSS's 99 at RP.

Ok, you sound about biased silly WWPN person. Also, Troy CA isn't even best Troy.

There's no need to attack other users and blatantly ask for bans in their presence. Let's discuss things with civility.

Since scioly.org is a public forum, we don't insult people, tournaments, or teams. Imagine how confusing it is to newcomers to read jargon like "stacked"/"unstacked" or hear about what's-it-called tournaments and so-and-so schools, and be misinformed by statements like "Munster isn't stacking." It may be funny for those who are "in" on the joke but this could be extremely frustrating and hurtful to first-year coaches looking for crucial information or to visitors who want to learn more about Indiana. It's not just us who post; hundreds of coaches and students read the forums and need truthful, accurate information.

To hmma, hmmma, boomifailure, cyanoacrylate: I can't tell what your intentions are or what team culture you have. But this is not the culture of scioly.org. This is not a matter of bias or opinion: in sounds of music, I'm privileged to have personally met and worked with students from each of Munster, Bloomington South, and Carmel. It's awesome to see teams who breathe passion into every year of Science Olympiad and STEM itself, and no matter who wins Indiana states, I'll be happy to say they will be an extremely qualified team, and moreover, I'd gladly help whichever school represents team Indiana at NC State University this year. There is no Munster Tribe or Carmel Tribe, neither chiefs nor warriors nor hunters. Science is a collaborative adventure.

So, join us in kindness and I promise SciOly will be among the most fulfilling times of your life. Medals are nothing but metal, unless we live, learn, wonder, and grow together.

Wait, I’m confused so is Munster stacking or not? Also go Indiana and I’m sorry you feel this way but it be like that. One example of it being like that is I was just called a “boomi” as a play on “boomer” but I shall not complain.

It is nearly certain that every team at Indiana states will be stacked because only one team per school will attend. More importantly, please write with conscience and civility towards all people and teams.
