I'm curious, what results suggest that LC goes above BHSS? From what little I've heard, I thought LC wasn't having too stellar of a season compared to BSouth...allofgarden wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 5:53 amMostly agree, here are mineboomifailure wrote: ↑February 18th, 2020, 10:21 am1. Carmel (UMich, need I say more)
2. BHSS (RP invite)
3. Munster (Not stacking)
4. BHSN (Also solid could see all of 2-4 being wrong)
5. Lake Central (Consistency)
1. Carmel (yeah same reason as above)
2. Munster (superscored well at UMich, depending on how good their stacked team is they could maybe upset Carmel)
3. Lake Central (they know how to compete at state, they consistently do very well)
4. BHSS (RP invite)
5. Either BHSN or John Adams (JA did well at their regionals)

Re: Indiana 2020
2018: Hovercraft, Thermo, Coaster, Solar System
2019: Thermo, Circuit Lab, Sounds, Wright Stuff
2020: Circuit Lab, Wright Stuff, Machines
2021: Circuit Lab, Machines, WIDI, anything but Wright Stuff
Can I request that we delete 2020 from our memories and do it over again?

Re: Indiana 2020
They have a history of doing ok in invites and then rising up at state. They are pretty consistent at state though, but with it being at Purdue this year that might hurt them. I am also rooting for LC lol, so it might be wishful thinking. I could see any of 2-5 changing around.Creationist127 wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 6:09 amI'm curious, what results suggest that LC goes above BHSS? Re: Indiana 2020
Yep, butler is next saturday. It could definitely change these predictions if the bloomigtons do really well. Although I will say that I am not sure how great of an indicator butler regionals is - last year Carmel's a and b team both beat the bloomingtons, but carmel ended up doing ok at states (won by a couple points i mean)boomifailure wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 6:06 amYeah, that's reasonable as well. I think a lot will be determined by the Butler regional, that is the one with the Bloomington schools and Carmel right?allofgarden wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 5:53 amMostly agree, here are mineboomifailure wrote: ↑February 18th, 2020, 10:21 am

Re: Indiana 2020
I could see 3-5 changing, but I think Munster is guaranteed second or first. There is almost basically tiers that being top tier (Carmel, Munster), Middle tier (BHs, John Adams, LC, and a few more), then of course bottom tier (everyone else).allofgarden wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 6:16 amThey have a history of doing ok in invites and then rising up at state. Re: Indiana 2020
Yeah that was a mistype, I agree munster and Carmel will probably be top two for this season at least. But we can’t forget two years ago when LC got second or three years ago when carmel got fourth. Might have been fluke seasons but it’s a reminder that anything can happen lolboomifailure wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 6:35 amI could see 3-5 changing, but I think Munster is guaranteed second or first. Re: Indiana 2020
Honestly that is probably not too far off. BHSS performed really well at RP invite which was early in the season, imagine how much stronger they are now, there's a chance they squeeze past both Munster and Carmel into 1st. Munster will still probably hold 2nd though as they have a tradition of being the runner-up.

Re: Indiana 2020
Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me either to see an upset in Division C. B, however, if I was a gambling man I would put so much money on Thomas Jefferson.hmma wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 8:52 amHonestly that is probably not too far off.
