Just saying, I feel like the test exchange is much more accessible in wiki form.

Really minor detail but having profile pictures that are larger than 6 KiB and 75 by 76 pixels would be nice lol - I've resorted to the horrendous Scratch cat because I couldn't find anything else xD

I second this. I've tried three times, and given up three times to set my icon to an astronomy image, or my school's logo etc.Riptide wrote:Really minor detail but having profile pictures that are larger than 6 KiB and 75 by 76 pixels would be nice lol - I've resorted to the horrendous Scratch cat because I couldn't find anything else xD

Re: How Could We Improve Scioly.org?
Sorry- double post
Another tiny thing, but it might be nice to specify if one is from South CA or North CA in the profile. (currently the only option is CA.) Since they are different competitions, and run separately, it might be best to have two separate options.

Thirded. I think that even if the max pixel space was expanded to 128 x 128, it would open up lots more possibilities.PM2017 wrote:I second this. "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12
I have no regrets.

Re: How Could We Improve Scioly.org?
agreed so hard. pretty pigeon at everyone asking questions when a little read through the forums answers it.Raleway wrote:At least for towers, there is a HUGE thread... full of information. Like the info present if someone just took the time to read through it would have placed at MIT. Far too often there will be new topics and threads asking questions that have been discussed thoroughly and just really waste space. Maybe have a pinned topic or some sort of preview before accessing the thread to that and asking: "Could your question be answered? Please read through here first!" could solve some of the issues.
The threads for nearly all events are extraordinarily cluttered and maybe assigning an event moderator would be helpful (you would need multiple for towers...) could help organize threads and combine some and lock useless ones.
And yes. Upvotes would be nice. And a mobile app. And updated aesthetics that have more pleasing colors. But only so much can happen.
Just my two cents.
