With the election taking up a lot of the news lately and winter quickly coming upon us, I hope that you can remember that the deadly COVID-19 pandemic is still here and it has not gone away. Although we are better treated for the virus then we were many months ago, the virus itself is still here and is still deadly to many susceptible people. Just yesterday, the United States added over 130,000 new cases to its case total. We are reaching highs we have never seen before in the course of this pandemic.

Obviously this doesn't mean we all have to shut ourselves indoors and see no one. But, if you go out, please remember to be cautious, wear a mask, and wash your hands as much as possible. Be cautious with who you meet and if you are exposed, attempt to limit who you interact with as much as possible.
Unfortunately there have now also been over 230,000 deaths due to the virus in the United States. That is equivalent to over 230,000 fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, friends, loved ones, coaches, students, teachers, workers who we have lost.
Please do your part, and do not forget that this virus has not left us. Together, we can do our part to help slow the spread.
Thank you
