Both Michigan teams placed top 10. I'm surprised, I thought they would do a little better. But still, that's pretty good. Congrats to Solon for a repeat victory.

shadyside got 20th and sewickley got 15th.. yeah us shadyside had a couple bombs so that lowered r score down quite a bit... but thats okay... :D

hey what did everyone think about the pentathalon event or crave the wave event? I thought that pentathalon was a bit interesting since it had constellations on it... it gave the people who were in stars a huuuuge time advantage.. i know that we could have studied the constellations but it was a bit frustrating....... i felt that we did not have enough time for crave the wave due to the event supervisor's demonstration that took up a lot of time.. but again.. these are just my opinions...

I know that one of the kids who did it for Arden was in Reach for Stars...

wasnt this one of the closest national competitions?? i mean 43 points difference between 2nd and 11th is almost unheard of

haha I'm using science olympiad for an end of the year english project and this came up when i was looking for an article. i was the minnesota team with the "robot" (EV). anybody on here from the california team?
