How do you abbreviate the events?

For anything Science Olympiad-related that might not fall under a specific event or competition.

Astronomy: Astro
Disease Detectives: DD
Dynamic Planet: Dynamic
Ecology: Ecology
Experimental Design: EXPD
Food Science: Food
Hovercraft: Hover
Invasive Species: Invasive
Hydrogeology: Hydro
Meteorology: Meteor
Microbe Mission: Microbe
Optics: Optics
Rocks and Minerals: Rocks
Towers: Towers
Wind Power: Wind
Write It Do It: WIDI (widdd - eee)

Most of the time I just say the first word, or 2 syllables. WIDI, EXPD, and DD are special with their amazing acronyms.

The ones that I abbreviate when typing:

Anatomy and Physiology: A&P
Dynamic Planet: DP
Electric Vehicle: EV
Food Science: FS
Material Science: MS
Remote Sensing: RS
Rocks and Minerals: R&M
Write It Do It: WIDI

The ones that I abbreviate when speaking:
Anatomy and Physiology: Anatomy
Astronomy: Astro
Chemistry Lab: Chem Lab
Disease Detective: Diseases
Invasive Species: Invasives
Material Science: Materials
Rocks and Minerals: Rocks

And the rest I don't care to abbreviate.
