I have already look at this one, but I'm not sure that it goes into enough depth for High School SciOly. Is there other ones you looked at?brayden box wrote:I think I found one. Try http://www.marine.usf.edu/pjocean/packe ... 9u1le1.pdf
Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Is much of the information asked from past Earth Science studies, such as oceans, waves Colossi effect, etc., or does it expand upon that?
Does anyone have any tips on preparing for this event, such as knowing the specifics of the Earth and its processes, or anything else?

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Any study guides that I should use for Dynamic Planet C?
Are there any others pieces of information that I need to know about wave and currents other than the the information on the manual

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Yeah what would be the best resource to study from. I don't have much prior knowledge for this event and need the most detailed study guide.
Also is there anywhere online where the rules are posted because last time I checked there wasn't.

Try the internet. No, rules will NEVER be posted online. Ask your coach for the rules manualclearmayhem wrote:Yeah what would be the best resource to study from. I don't have much prior knowledge for this event and need the most detailed study guide.

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Really, there aren't any you 'should' use, if you want to best prepare for the event you ought be making your own study guide. But some good resources for you to begin your search would probably be Earth Science textbooks from your school, as well as online textbooks. This year I found some good online textbooks on marine biogeochemical cycles. NOAA's website also has good information as well. Really, you could probably just go through and google each term and you will find information on them. As far as outside information goes, I often find that at invitationals there are often questions on different types of sediments, tsunamis, and magnetic reversals. However, State and Nationals both tend to stick to what's on the manual.deji725 wrote:Any study guides that I should use for Dynamic Planet C?
