Hopefully Dynamic, Water Quality, and Experimental, just like this year!
Though I'm curious to do something like Mission Possible / Complex Machines because it seems interesting (and I want redemption )

I always thought that Complex Machines was a Division C event of Simple Machines. Maybe I'm right? :Omnstrviola wrote:Hopefully Dynamic, Water Quality, and Experimental, just like this year!

Would you recommend Experimental Design? It seems pretty hard to medal.

Exp. design is so much fun! Basically all you have to do is memorize the rubric and have a basic knowledge of different types of science ranging from biology to physics. The most important thing is practice!ScienceOlympian wrote: Would you recommend Experimental Design? It seems pretty hard to medal.

But even if you know everything and practice a lot, couldn't you fail the competition if your experiment isn't good enough?fozendog wrote:Exp. design is so much fun! Yeah, you have to have the right experiment in order to do well. That just takes about 2-3 minutes of planning before you start in order to make sure your experiment is good.ScienceOlympian wrote:But even if you know everything and practice a lot, couldn't you fail the competition if your experiment isn't good enough?fozendog wrote:Exp. design is so much fun! Ugghh... Sounds... It was fun and all and we were good at it but... too much stress......silverheart7 wrote:I want to do Write-it-Do-it with my current Forestry/Triple E partner. He and I sort of share the same mentality, so we'd be a really great pair. Our coach thinks we have chemistry
I'll probably be on Entemology or Invasive if it becomes an event with the same person. We're both ID specialists, so we'll probably be stuck with one or the other if not both.
I want Can't Judge a Powder, but I assume I won't get it.
After this year, I don't think I'll do Sounds again. It's just too stressful for me, and I DON'T need any more mental breakdowns.

Basically the same events as this year: Anatomy, Crime Busters, and Heredity. I wanted to do Mousetrap Vehicle, but they're taking it out, so I might be doing another Build Event (possibly Helicopters). Depends.. xD

I may or may not do Elastic Launched Glider. But Entomology and WQ definitely. Forensics... Maybe. And I'm going to help my brother with Designer Genes.

I've never understood why people have problems with bugs. They certainly aren't scary, unless they have the potential to hurt me or anyone else.ScienceOlympian wrote:I hate Entomology...Super scary!
