Wow a lot of people here have been rejected by MIT. I'm not feeling great about my chances of being accepted there :?

I'd like to interject that even if you don't get in there for undergrad but have distant interest, there is always graduate school. I know folks who had no trouble getting into good programs at MIT after getting their bachelor's.

Yeah, I am thinking of doing undergrad studies at Ohio State or Cornell and then applying to CalTech or MIT for Graduate school.

There are a couple of us on here who were accepted; I also wouldn't just rule yourself out because a few people online got rejected. Obviously with MIT you can't feel like you're certain to get in (very few people do), but you should still give it your best shot.
