Re: Naked Egg Drop?
I believe that in the possible events list for next year, it said that Egg Drop would possibly be an event next year, not Naked Egg Drop. I'm pretty sure that Naked Egg Drop involves making a device to catch the egg in without it breaking, while Egg Drop involves something around the egg that prevents the egg from breaking.

Sorry, I was talking about egg drop, but didn't feel like starting a new thread.

Re: Naked Egg Drop?
wouldn't it potentially bounce? Jello is very bouncydudeincolorado wrote:for some reason i want to suggest jello.... but thats not too practical
i would try rice with a layer on fiberfill on top its soft but to to soft
I guess if it was in cubes it might not
but yeah it would have to be kept very cold
you would need a backing but it wouldn't bounce nearly as muich cause memory foam is made t sink in with wieght its a good ideavofbassist wrote:I believe memory foam would provide the kind of cusion that is nessisary, if you can get ahold of it. But don't use just memory foam. Dude's right, you want some kind of hard bottom like styrofoam, or wood. I would suggest basswood because it's soft, but not as soft as blasa.
