Yeah, I'd say 5 has gotta be the absolute limit. Try to do to many and you won't do well enough. Unless there's only like 5 people on your team, you need to spread the work out a little better. You're much better to do well in a few events than average to poor in many events.

We're probably going to end up having a small team since we're loosing practically the entire team. Some events such as Reach for the Stars, Amphibians, and Dynamic Planet I already know A TON about so I dont have to do much studying for them. Last year I did 5 and I felt like I could do more and have enough time to practice for each event

Our school has so many kids, we have 4 teams, and we still need to cut a few (4 X 15 = 60, so over 60 kids). Makes it so that the coach wont let you do more than 5, just so the other people can get a chance to do more events.

Wow. We must have about the perfect amount; 1 sixth grader, 7 seventh graders, one eigth grader, and about 3 ninth graders.

We are also trying to get 1 more 6th grader, and 3 more eight graders.

This year it looks like we're going to have 5 9th graders, 3 8th graders, 5 6th graders and few 5th graders depending on how many 5th graders are interested.

hmmm lets see
last year we had 5 6ths, 5 7th and, 5 8th, 15 total
the year befor that we had 2 6th, 4 7th and 8 8th graders , 13 total
the year BEFOR that we had 5 6th graders 7 7th graders and 2 8th grades, 14 total

i think it important to get the younger grades in beacuse THEY are the ones that will get extra practice and be better off when they're older

Ah, you're all B division. That probably means you have less grade levels to work with.

Although I really wish we had more upperclassmen.

How do you figure that? My middle school team has 5 grade levels to work with but my high school team [granted I start one] would only have 4 grade levels to work with.
