Can I glue the wing nut to the end of the screw after threading it a little; now when the screw rotates the wing nut spins and moves laterally along with the screw as it is glued

I believe the wingnut must move along the screw. The screw cannot carry the wingnut.
I can't think of anything else to put here, so I just wrote this...
