Re: Fossils B/C
I'm very crazy haha (I'm considering taking 6-7 events next year, I know that I'm confirmed competing (for states) for at least 4 )
I'm thinking of the future cause I'm staying in Div B next year (yes I'm becoming a freshman)
But... since we have time slots for each event and I might have to coach next year - I hope that i get to compete for all of them
Next year will be my favorite year for sure.
Any advice on studying? (I'll have to study over summer, build everything (binders, cheat sheets, and maybe even an instrument??)
Taking Rocks (confirmed for states) probably doing this with (old) Mission Possible partner, DP (confirmed for states) SOLO haha, I can do tectonics by myself, Meteo (confirmed for states) same Meteo partner as this year, Orni (kinda confirmed for states, depends on what head coach thinks of my ID skills + I'm learning from my (old) Mission Possible partner cause her partner is leaving her for Div C... She's staying in Div B with me haha),
NOT (tentative, I believe) sure if these will be confirmed next year but maybe competing for Crave the Wave, Sounds of Music if they become actually events
I'm such an Earth Science person, but I probably will take physics events next year. So much for a change
Earth Science are the best events imo

2021 events: Fossils, DP, Meteo, Orni
2018-2021: Non-proud member of DMSO
2019-2024: co-coach of Meteorology, coach for Crime Busters,co-coach for Fossils,co-coach for R&M, co-coach for DP
A very non-intelligent crackhead during competition

Re: Fossils B/C
DP won't be tectonics next year. It'll be hydrology (IMO the worst DP topic).

NooOOO (hydrology is so bad)
Right i forgot that tectonics was 2 years ago, and it's unlikely they'll bring it back next year

fairly certain it will be tectonicsBennyTheJett wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 6:40 am DP won't be tectonics next year. It'll be hydrology (IMO the worst DP topic).
hydrogeology is an inquiry iirc.
did you mean earth's freshwaters

Yes, it will be Earth's Fresh Waters if you follow the cycle.LiteralRhinoceros wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 7:41 amfairly certain it will be tectonicsBennyTheJett wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 6:40 am DP won't be tectonics next year. It'll be hydrology (IMO the worst DP topic).

Re: Fossils B/C
I had the notion that they skipped Earth's Freshwaters, or removed it all together. It should've been after 2018 Tectonics, but it probably intersected too much with WaQua.

Re: Fossils B/C
Likely pushing the topic back to next year? It's weird that This years WaQua lines up with this year's DP though. It'll be interesting to see what they do (PLEASE tectonics)LiteralRhinoceros wrote: ↑February 19th, 2020, 7:48 am I had the notion that they skipped Earth's Freshwaters, or removed it all together. Re: Fossils B/C
MIT, UT Austin, and UGA have released full test sets (including Fossils tests) from this year. Princeton tests should be released soon as well.
