Talked to one of my friends on the team before awards. He said that today they weren't performing as well as compared to the invites this season. Hersey's upset was nevertheless a great sight to see. Congrats on 3rd Hersey! Hopefully, they see this

It's interesting to see that Hersey through Barrington are all relatively the same score. Last year, in particular, there was a huge gap in scores (especially since NT was there!)

Only slightly above average in algorithms

Wow. Hey, let's give the other teams the congratulations and respect that they deserve, it was clearly a strong effort. On that note, congratulations to Glencoe Central for returning to state, and a HUGE congratulations to Vernon Hills for qualifying for the first time! See ya at state!

Haven't been keeping track of DWJHS's placements this year at invitationals - do the regional scores indicate that dw is just as strong as last year, or is SAA stronger than before?

A bit hard to tell . . . they got a score of 39 last year at Lake County. Keep in mind that this was with 12 teams, none of which were SAA. To be safe, I would just assume that they're as strong as last year.

Anyone know why Harper scores aren’t up yet? The other regionals from yesterday are.

I don't think the 12 alternates applies to Division C. It's definitely for Division B since they have Pentathlon.

Very interesting...Botany instead of Awesome Aquifers. (I don't think anyone saw that coming!) No E-Wright Stuff, Green Generation, or Solar Power either.

Either way, these are the official trial events!
