Re: Georgia 2018
I myself am particularly attracted to prediction contests, hence entering myself into both GA polls. The state doesn't really matter to me a whole lot. I would be willing to enter into NC or IL prediction contests, in response to Alex and TheChiScientist.
"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12
I have no regrets.

Re: Georgia 2018
For those not yet aware, there's a new coaches workshop in Georgia on July 27-28. I assume, based on the lack of any school name specifically attached as well as the location, that it's being run by the state organization.

It is, indeed, being run by the GA SciOly State Organization.Unome wrote:For those not yet aware, there's a new coaches workshop in Georgia on July 27-28. I assume, based on the lack of any school name specifically attached as well as the location, that it's being run by the state organization.
BUT, it is a workshop for ALL coaches, not just new coaches.

I guess I was ambiguous with my wording - I meant that the coaches workshop was new...anagene wrote:It is, indeed, being run by the GA SciOly State Organization.Unome wrote:For those not yet aware, there's a new coaches workshop in Georgia on July 27-28. Updated invitationals. Looks like we'll have slightly more than usual this year. Hopefully numbers continue to trend upward.

Do you think any teams from GA will attend the Duke/Enloe invitationals in NC?Unome wrote:Updated invitationals. Looks like we'll have slightly more than usual this year. Hopefully numbers continue to trend upward.

Re: Georgia 2018
I doubt anyone will come to Duke, the conflict with Brookwood is too big for anything except possibly MIT. When is Enloe? (they don't have a date yet right?)Alex-RCHS wrote:Do you think any teams from GA will attend the Duke/Enloe invitationals in NC?Unome wrote:Updated invitationals.
