Re: Michigan 2018
DCD and Troy did better than their medals indicated, FHC much worse. Will be interesting to see the scores.
My guess is Northville and GH were very close.

That's amazing. It's also an amazing upset.

Re: Michigan 2018
Slauson's gap of 32 years between state championships may be the longest time period between state championships for a single school in the nation.

Re: Michigan 2018
Anybody know what went down with Troy? We heard they were DQ'd from Write it Do it, but they placed 36th in the results. A DQ should have been a 52 I think, why didn't they get 36? Then they only had like 5 kids at the awards and no roar from the crowd whenever they were announced, so I suspect most of them packed up and went home.

Re: Michigan 2018
I didn't hear that part, but it looks like they had low scores in some of their other events as well. I'm not sure exactly why they wouldn't be there, but a DQ would make sense. That would be pretty devastating to their nationals hopes.dcambrid wrote:Anybody know what went down with Troy? We heard they were DQ'd from Write it Do it, but they placed 36th in the results.
