Seeing as neither NY Div B team placed 23rd in this event last year, it's probably State or Regionals.

Sorry, I forgot to tell which. We placed 23rd at states.

It occurs to me that sitting at the beach observing would probably be really effective for topics such as tides, upwelling, longshore drift, etc

Upwelling not so much, but definitely the other topics as well as coastal features like berms and the effects of swash and backwash. Also the effects of energy from the waves creating dimples in the sand under the water. I recently went to the beach and I think it's good to look at the ocean (in person) from a scientific view when you are studying it.

Where do we find information on the relationship between fisheries and ocean colour? I can't find anything anywhere. I can just infer that increase in fish in an area is likely due to a large amount of plankton thus the ocean color is likely greener than in other areas

I just looked up "relationships between fisheries and ocean color" and it had a lot of information. Did you try google yet? I had looked that up on google.

I mostly include pics on my cheat sheet. This really helped at nationals.

I can't find any information either. I have already searched on Google, but haven't really found any websites that go in depth. Is there any links that anybody can recommend?
