Re: Shock Value B/Circuit Lab C
So, what should I use as study material? The main problem is I just don't know where to start.

Re: Shock Value B/Circuit Lab C
I suggest starting at the Shock Value Wiki. We also have some practice Shock Value Test Exchange 2014 for you to look at. That should help you get started, but I'd also take a look at the Shock Value page and resources provided by soinc.org.

Re: Shock Value B/Circuit Lab C
No, because there are a ton of possible formulas. Plus, a big part of Science Olympiad is the preparation - you'll get more out of this that will benefit you in the long run if you learn them yourself instead of being spoon fed them. That said, I know it's sometimes hard to know where to start. The official event page on the soinc.org website is always a good place to start for all events: http://www.soinc.org/shock_val_bdchin1059 wrote:Can someone give me all the formulas we will need to know for Shock value (B)?

OK, I'm not the best rule-reader on the planet, but they don't seem to be very clear on what we will be doing in the lab section of the Circuit Lab (C), and Soinc.org isn't being very helpful.

That's because the hand-on portion will be up to each individual event supervisor. There are a ton of possible things that could be done. Check out some of the example tests on the test exchange here on scioly for ideas.Argentum wrote:OK, I'm not the best rule-reader on the planet, but they don't seem to be very clear on what we will be doing in the lab section of the Circuit Lab (C), and Soinc.org isn't being very helpful.
