The rules do not say anything else, but you would have to show this to a judge at your competition, and it might be risky to whether they buy it.Antinoch wrote:In the task list it says 'use a 3rd class lever to cause the next action.' Doesn't that technically mean we can literally drop tweezers into a pulley, or something like that? That's using a third class lever to cause the next action.

You'd have to hope they give you style points for being a smart-alec. Please don't risk it.questionguy wrote:The rules do not say anything else, but you would have to show this to a judge at your competition, and it might be risky to whether they buy it.Antinoch wrote:In the task list it says 'use a 3rd class lever to cause the next action.' Re: Lever Task
Tweezers are only a third-class lever when they are being used as tweezers. In your example, they aren't.questionguy wrote:The rules do not say anything else, but you would have to show this to a judge at your competition, and it might be risky to whether they buy it.Antinoch wrote:In the task list it says 'use a 3rd class lever to cause the next action.' Re: Lever Task
Doesn't matter. A lever is a lever no matter its orientation.questionguy wrote:Does the lever have to raise vertically? Or can it move horizontally?
