can anyone help me with setting up a testing rig? The testing set-up for Elevated Bridge should be the same as the set-up for non-elevated bridges?

Pretty much. At a competition, expect a base with markings for where to put the bridge and a hole down the center for dropping the bucket. To test, all you really need are two desks or tables of the same height to put the bridge on.

JimY,

I did not post my last seven bridges that ultimately became my Nationals bridge design. However, I do have all the bridges I tested through State in the gallery.

Aia,

Understood, thanks. 42 bridges is an amazing amount of work and 7th at nats is a nice reward for all the work.

I've heard that this year Elevated Bridge is going to be... well, more elevated. Can anyone confirm or refute this?
Well, not that it matters, since the official rules come out in a matter of days.

That would've been my guess, though I have no idea - I would've guessed that for, Div C, everything stayed the same except clearance height goes to 10cm, probably in an attempt to discourage people using the "flat bridge on legs" strategy. It'd be even crazier if the raised the clearance even more, but I think they'd have to raise max height too in that case, and then it becomes even more like towers...

Anybody else have guesses?

Errr...not exactly. Via Soinc store:
Manuals, CDs, DVDs, etc. can still be ordered but, 2010 revisions will NOT be available until Sept. 10.
So factor in slow shipping, maybe a month from now?
