Generally, the person who answers asks the question, but it's fine.

Correct me if I'm wrong (especially if I messed up the final number of significant digits).
Justin can go.
Sorry my bad. The answer is right but I think it would be better to leave it with out rounding sig figs.

Sorry Justin

Nah, the rules specifically ask for sig figs (which is appropriate since this is a physics event after all and not just mathematics, so measurement precision seems important).

Also, no harm done :P

Your Sig. Figs. are correct, at least as far as I can tell.

Thanks, I always get confused when a logarithm is involved. (Is the mantissa significant? The characteristic? How many sigfigs do I keep? AAAAAAAH PANIC MODE)

Interestingly enough, there's a significant figure policy on soinc.org, but it only bothers with basic operations, which is strange when logarithms are ridiculously useful in Science Olympiad, even in B division (Thermodynamics B for one), even if they aren't usually found on B division tests.

Don't worry about it haha.

How many kilograms of water at 0 degrees Celcius can a freezer with a COP of 6 turn into ice at 0 degrees Celsius with a work input of 4 MJ?

2 kg (I used sig figs)

Starting this up again...

Is a reaction with a positive change in enthalpy exergonic or endergonic?

If I remember correctly... Would it be endergonic?

At what temperature are Celsius and Fahrenheit the same?
