IMO doing Math in Astro is not heavily about physics.. just know how to do astronomy math because there are a lot of relationships and equations. Ap Physics wouldn't hurt, but it also isn't enough or really helpful like Ap Chen might be for chemT-55M wrote:Division C

Seriously.
(also if you do build events you don't actually do much at the competition, so you can do more of them.)
Another thing that helps is having experience in similar classes in HS, e.g., ChemLab=AP Chem, Astronomy=AP Physics.
