Re: Environmental Chemistry C
Hi there -- does anybody have any advice on preparing for the labs for this event? A lot of the reagents etc that are used for the relevant EPA protocols are pretty expensive/hard to find/not useful for much else, so it doesn't seem ideal to actually get *all* the materials and practice *every* assay, if there's a better way. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Re: Environmental Chemistry C
I recommend focusing on the easy-to-find analytes, because if they're hard to find for you, they'll also be hard to find for the event supervisor. I would expect almost exclusively beer's law / colorimetry labs, so definitely focus on practicing serial dilutions and using a colorimeter.CyanistesCaeruleus wrote: ↑October 18th, 2022, 5:15 pm Hi there -- does anybody have any advice on preparing for the labs for this event? Re: Environmental Chemistry C
Does anyone know whether we need to print out all the legislations or not? It's like 200+ pages and I don't think my binder can have extra space for other notes if I print out all of the legislations.
