so in my orchestra class its almost winter so i'm knitting every single person a tiny hat to put on top of their bow AND ITS SO CUTE THE TINY LITTLE SNOW HATS

terrifyingly late response, but i can't help but wonder... how do they not fall off? maybe it's just me and that i play really aggressively, but i feel like it'd just fly off somewhere into the unknown and bonk someone in the face... like a particularly fast retake or spicatto and just... wheeeee...

but ahhh i am visualizing that right now and it's so cute and i want to make one for my own bow now-

Soooo my choir director expects us all to memorize a 70+ page piece for our Christmas concert on top of another piece (it's shorter, but still with the other piece....)

Oh and the concert is in two weeks.

And we have like 6 more practices.

And on top of that, I'm literally failing classes because I can't do homework because my parents made me go get a job and I have to get there right after school and stay at least until 10.

Stress is extreme.

Fun fact for you guys—did you know that Heinrich Hertz (yes that dude) almost wasn't allowed to go to college to study science? In fact, he almost wasn't allowed to go to college at all, and the reason why he wasn't was that in his secondary school, his teachers taught him science instead of Latin or Greek, which I guess the aristocracy of the time thought was more important for being a scientist than learning, well, uhhh, actual science. Super bizarre.
