Start and target point dimensions

The track layout on scioly website says that start and target points should be marked on a 2.5cmx5cm tape. However, it does not give approximate dimensions of these two points. Do they have to be of certain size, like 1 mm or 4 mm diameter? Does anyone know?

The point size is never really spelled out in the rules. I judge this quite a bit, and generally use a standard point sharpie marker for the point. Having judged the event this year, I do appreciate the teams that use something bold to make the point. It is easier to see on the video.

It's supposed to be a point. It's not supposed to have a size. But making an 'x' with a sharpie, and measuring to the center of the 'x' will do perfectly fine.
