7. Scientists can learn about Earth's history from the sequence of rock layers. As stated in the Law of Superposition, younger layers form on top of older layers, so as scientists venture down a sequence of layers, anything found can explain our land's history. For example, if a fossil is found on one layer, and another fossil is found 3 layers down, we can predict that the first fossil found is younger, which can tell us about the type of environment that existed during its lifetime, and more. (not sure if this answered the question,...)

1. They possess animal-like behaviors like motility and predation, as well as lack a cell wall. They were placed in their own kingdom because they are single-cellular. (?) 2. Bothriolepis ate detritus, algae, and microorganisms by eating mud. It is a detritivore 3. About 24.1

For 1, the reason why they became a separate kingdom is kind of that but (at least from what I know, correct me if I'm wrong) it was because they were thought to be the ancestors of animals rather than animals themselves. 1) Pentremites 2) Phylum Echinodermata and Class Blastoidea 3) A is the anus, B is the entrance to the respiratory organs, C is the mouth for feeding 4) Water would go through the hydrospires which were folded.
