Re: Reach for the Stars B
Does anyone have some good constellation maps for cheat sheets? I hate memorizing the locations of the constellations, and I can't seem to find ones that are actually readable (maybe it's just my vision).

I would just look at the hemisphere maps because most tests will be centered on polaris and its the easiest to recognize them that way. The maps will be trash on the tests too, so as long as you get the general shape you should be fine.

Re: Reach for the Stars B
Kind of a late response lol but I honestly just like to go outside at night and look around, and I feel like its a really fun and interesting way to practice. Try to find certain asterisms in the sky (Winter/Summer Triangle, Big Dipper, etc.), and when you are good at identifying constellations in real life, doing it on a chart will also be pretty easy.MorningCoffee wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 1:37 pm Does anyone have some good constellation maps for cheat sheets? Re: Reach for the Stars B
Does anybody know how to determine the date using nothing but a star chart and the time of day?
