Re: BEARSO Invitational
I think teams will definitely have well over 2000 for this event at BEARSO... I can get 1900 with those conditions (and I've heard of higher). I also know some teams put the nodes at the exact min/max positions, which is probably a tier.Godspeed wrote: ↑October 11th, 2020, 9:15 amLowest scores I've heard of were about 200, but the higher scores I've seen have been around 1500 regionsciolyperson1 wrote: ↑October 11th, 2020, 6:27 am Any boomi score ranges? Distance was 425mm and width was 65mm.

Where does it say teams can't place the nodes at the exact min/max?nobodynobody wrote: ↑October 13th, 2020, 6:39 pmI think teams will definitely have well over 2000 for this event at BEARSO... Re: BEARSO Invitational
It doesn't, but placing nodes exactly on those points will put your boomi very slightly out of spec since it will be too large.freed2003 wrote: ↑October 13th, 2020, 8:20 pmWhere does it say teams can't place the nodes at the exact min/max?nobodynobody wrote: ↑October 13th, 2020, 6:39 pmI think teams will definitely have well over 2000 for this event at BEARSO... 2 days left in the prediction contest! We have 20 submissions so far.sciolyperson1 wrote: ↑October 14th, 2020, 3:19 pm BEARSO Prediction Contest Div. C:

Scoring:
Your team score will be the sum of your predictions for all 10 placements. For each placement, you will be given max(12-(ln(x+1)*4), 0) points, where x is the absolute value of the difference between the team’s actual placement and your predicted placement. If a team is accidentally included twice, only your higher placement for that team will be counted.
