Welp. It was a great run. I love scioly and have no regrets for the time I put in. Hate to end this way but thanks everyone for making this the best community out there. I go cri now.

Re: Pennsylvania 2020
The year-to-year storylines are what makes Science Olympiad great in my mind. We lost what was looking like a great, competitive year in both divisions. We will never know what teams would've come out of nowhere, or made their states debut, or even their nationals debut. Just a shame all around, the biggest tragedy I have ever seen in Science Olympiad in my years involved.

Definitely a great tragedy for the world in general, but I'm glad that the Science Olympiad community is sticking to its values of science and is making the appropriate decisions.EastStroudsburg13 wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 6:49 pm The year-to-year storylines are what makes Science Olympiad great in my mind. I think this season would've been the most interesting season, as there were many schools that were destroying.EastStroudsburg13 wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 6:49 pm The year-to-year storylines are what makes Science Olympiad great in my mind. Re: Pennsylvania 2020
I was excited for socal states, you guys hadn't competed yet against either Kraemer or JT, so it would've been fun to see how y'all would have done.Godspeed wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 7:18 pmI think this season would've been the most interesting season, as there were many schools that were destroying.EastStroudsburg13 wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 6:49 pm The year-to-year storylines are what makes Science Olympiad great in my mind. Yeah, we were all very excited for it and really wanted to see how well we would've done against Kraemer and JT. Well, we'll be looking forward to facing you all at Troy next year!Umaroth wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 8:13 pmI was excited for socal states, you guys hadn't competed yet against either Kraemer or JT, so it would've been fun to see how y'all would have done.Godspeed wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 7:18 pmI think this season would've been the most interesting season, as there were many schools that were destroying.EastStroudsburg13 wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 6:49 pm The year-to-year storylines are what makes Science Olympiad great in my mind. I wish PASO all the best next year... really is a shame to lose such a great season with such amazing competitors and teams this year.Dave Moyer wrote: I just learned today that SEN has been cancelled. Also you will see below that the National Office has cancelled the National Tournament and is stating that all regional and state tournaments be cancelled.
I am very disappointed as I know all of you are. As soon as I get all expenses for this season recorded, the Board will meet online to discuss how we will move forward. We will address the refund situation and determine what will be done.
Our season has been stolen from us. What a lousy way to end the season. They will be using this year's rules again next year, so save your stuff!
